Raleigh Police Seek Armed Suspect After Gunpoint Robbery at Subway Restaurant

RALEIGH, North Carolina — Police in Raleigh are active in their search for an armed suspect who carried out a bold heist at a local Subway restaurant. The incident, which has raised safety concerns among nearby residents and businesses, took place on Thursday, October 30, 2025.

According to initial reports from the Raleigh Police Department, the suspect entered the establishment, brandished a firearm, and confronted the employees on duty. Demonstrating a clear threat of violence, the individual demanded cash from the register. Fearing for their lives, the store employees complied with the suspect's demands, handing over an undisclosed amount of currency.

Once the cash was secured, the suspect fled the scene, escaping into the surrounding area before law enforcement arrived.
