Police Search for Armed Suspect After Two Richmond Businesses Robbed at Gunpoint

RICHMOND, VA — Authorities in Richmond are on high alert following two back-to-back armed robberies of local businesses. Police have launched an investigation and are searching for a suspect who brandished a firearm during both incidents.

The robberies occurred in quick succession on April 17, 2025. In each instance, the suspect entered the business, threatened employees with a handgun, and demanded cash from the register before fleeing the scene on foot. Fortunately, no injuries were reported during either confrontation.

Detectives are reviewing security camera footage from the affected establishments and surrounding areas to gather a detailed description of the perpetrator. Local business owners are urged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious individuals loitering near their premises.
