Police Search for Suspect in Armed Robbery at Riverside Marathon Gas Station

The Riverside Police Department is seeking the public's help in identifying and locating a suspect involved in an armed robbery at a Marathon gas station in Riverside. The incident, which took place on Friday, April 18, 2025, has prompted an active investigation by local law enforcement officers who are reviewing surveillance footage from the scene.

According to initial police reports, a male suspect entered the Marathon convenience store, brandished a firearm at the clerk, and demanded cash from the register. The employee, fearing for their safety, complied with the suspect's demands. The assailant fled the premises with an undisclosed amount of cash before officers arrived. No injuries were reported during the robbery.

Investigators have released descriptions of the suspect, who was seen wearing dark clothing and a mask to conceal his identity. Law enforcement is urging anyone with information, or who may have witnessed suspicious activity near the Marathon station around 3:00 PM on the day of the robbery, to contact the Riverside Police Department's robbery division immediately.
