Nightclub Burglary Suspects Apprehended Following Rooftop Escape Attempt near Ontario Beach Park

ROCHESTER, NY โ€” A dramatic rooftop chase near Ontario Beach Park ended with the arrest of several nightclub burglary suspects early Monday morning. The Rochester Police Department responded to a call regarding a break-in at a local nightclub on June 2, 2025.

Upon arriving at the scene, officers spotted the suspects attempting to evade capture. The individuals fled upward, climbing onto the rooftops of adjacent commercial buildings. Law enforcement quickly established a perimeter around the block near Ontario Beach Park, forcing the suspects into a corner. With the assistance of additional units, officers successfully apprehended the suspects on the roof without further incident or major injuries.

The suspects have been charged with commercial burglary, grand larceny, and resisting arrest. Police are investigating if this group is linked to any other recent commercial break-ins in the Charlotte neighborhood and Ontario Beach area.
