Two Arrested in Rochester After Knifepoint Robbery and Death Threats

ROCHESTER, MN — Two men have been arrested and are facing multiple felony charges following a terrifying knifepoint robbery in Rochester. During the confrontation, the suspects allegedly brandished a knife and made direct threats to kill the victim if they did not comply with demands.

The incident occurred on June 24, 2024, prompting emergency calls to local police. The victim reported being confronted by two individuals who cornered them, pulled out a knife, and demanded money and valuables while uttering death threats. The victim, fearing for their life, complied, and the suspects fled the scene immediately after obtaining the stolen property.

Responding officers gathered descriptions and searched the area, successfully locating and arresting the two suspects shortly thereafter. Both men are currently held in the local jail, facing charges of armed robbery, terroristic threats, and assault. The Rochester Police Department has confirmed that the weapon involved was recovered and the victim did not suffer physical injuries during the robbery.
