Three Arrested in Macy's Robbery at Roseville Galleria Mall

ROSEVILLE, CA — Police have taken three suspects—one adult male and two juveniles—into custody following a high-profile robbery at the Macy's department store inside the Roseville Galleria mall on Thursday.

According to the Roseville Police Department, officers responded to reports of a theft in progress at the major retail location. Store security officers flagged down the suspects as they attempted to flee the premises with stolen merchandise. Police officers quickly arrived on the scene and prevented the suspects from escaping.

Suspects Identified

The adult suspect has been identified as a resident of the Sacramento area, while the two co-conspirators are local teenagers. All three have been charged with organized retail theft, grand theft, and conspiracy to commit a crime.

Organized retail crime has been a major focus for Placer County law enforcement. The Galleria mall, as one of the region's largest shopping centers, works closely with local police departments to deploy rapid-response tactics during shoplifting and robbery incidents.

"Partnerships between mall security and local officers are critical to maintaining safety and stopping retail theft rings before they leave the area," officials stated.

No injuries were reported during the incident, and the stolen merchandise was successfully recovered and returned to the store. The adult suspect remains in Placer County Jail, while the teens were released to their guardians pending juvenile court proceedings.
