Police Chase and Crash Follow Commercial Burglary at Sacramento Marijuana Facility

SACRAMENTO, California — A commercial burglary at a marijuana facility in Sacramento escalated into a high-speed police pursuit and a subsequent vehicle crash, leaving one suspect in custody while search efforts continue for two others.

The incident began in the early hours of September 30, 2024, when officers responded to a commercial burglary alarm at a local cannabis facility. Upon arrival, officers spotted the suspects fleeing the scene in a vehicle. A pursuit was initiated, leading to a high-speed chase through Sacramento streets that ultimately ended when the suspects' vehicle crashed.

Following the collision, officers immediately detained one individual at the scene. However, two other suspects managed to flee on foot and remain at large. Police are asking anyone with information regarding the incident or the remaining suspects to contact Sacramento law enforcement.
