Sacramento Couple Arrested in Gunpoint Follow-Home Robbery

A couple has been arrested in connection with a terrifying "follow-home" armed robbery in south Sacramento. The incident, which took place on April 3, 2025, involved suspects trailing a victim from a public location directly to their residence, where they were robbed at gunpoint.

Law enforcement reports indicate that the victim was targeted after leaving a local establishment. The suspects followed the victim's vehicle to their home, waiting for them to exit. As the victim stepped out, they were confronted by armed individuals who demanded personal belongings and cash. Under threat of violence, the victim complied, and the suspects fled the scene in a getaway vehicle.

Sacramento Police Department detectives utilized license plate readers, surveillance footage from nearby homes, and witness statements to track down the suspects. The investigation quickly led to the identification and subsequent arrest of a local couple. Both individuals have been booked into the Sacramento County Jail on charges of armed robbery and conspiracy.
