Sacramento Comics and Toy Store Targeted Twice in Three Days by Burglars

A popular comics and toy store in Sacramento is facing a challenging recovery after being burglarized twice in just three days. The consecutive break-ins have left the shop owners with thousands of dollars in property damage and stolen collectibles, raising concerns about security in the neighborhood retail district.

The first incident occurred overnight, with the suspects breaking the storefront window and grabbing high-value comic books and vintage toys. Just forty-eight hours later, before the window could be permanently repaired, burglars struck again, entering through the boarded-up opening to steal more inventory. “It’s heartbreaking to see our hard work destroyed twice in such a short time,” the owner commented. Store owners are now upgrading their security systems, including installing metal roll-up grates. Sacramento police are investigating both break-ins and trying to determine if they were committed by the same individuals.
