Man Arrested Following Armed Robbery at Redwood Road 7-Eleven in Salt Lake City

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah — A suspect is in custody following a prompt response by the Salt Lake City Police Department (SLCPD) to an armed robbery reported outside a convenience store on Redwood Road.

According to initial police reports, the incident occurred outside the local 7-Eleven located on Redwood Road. Witnesses reported seeing a man brandishing a weapon and demanding property from an individual in the vicinity of the store. Officers arrived on the scene shortly after receiving the emergency call, locating and arresting the suspect without further incident.

The suspect, whose identity has not yet been fully released pending formal charges, faces multiple allegations including armed robbery. The investigation remains active as detectives gather additional evidence and interview witnesses who were in the area at the time of the confrontation.
