Two Teenagers in Custody Following Carjacking and T-Bone Collision on North Side

SAN ANTONIO, Texas — Two teenagers are in police custody following a carjacking that culminated in a serious T-bone collision on the city's North Side, authorities confirmed on Thursday.

Carjacking Escalates to High-Speed Crash

The incident began on February 20, 2025, when the suspects reportedly carjacked a victim at gunpoint on the North Side. Following the robbery, the teenagers fled the scene in the stolen vehicle at high speeds.

Shortly thereafter, the fleeing vehicle ran through an intersection, crashing broadside into another motorist in a severe T-bone collision. The force of the impact caused significant damage to both vehicles and temporarily blocked traffic along the busy corridor.

Apprehension and Arrests

San Antonio Police Department officers quickly converged on the crash scene. The two teenage suspects tried to flee on foot but were rapidly apprehended and detained by responding units.
