Four Teenagers Apprehended by SAPD Following Burglary and High-Speed Vehicle Pursuit

SAN ANTONIO, Texas โ€” The San Antonio Police Department (SAPD) announced the arrest of four teenagers following a commercial burglary that escalated into a high-speed vehicle pursuit through city streets.

The incident began when officers responded to a burglary call at a local business. Upon the arrival of law enforcement, the suspects fled the scene in a vehicle, initiating a chase. Officers pursued the vehicle as it drove recklessly, eventually coming to a stop after police deployed spike strips or the vehicle suffered a mechanical failure.

All four occupants, confirmed to be teenagers, were detained. They face multiple charges, including burglary, evading arrest in a motor vehicle, and potentially possession of stolen property. Fortunately, no injuries were reported during the pursuit. The SAPD continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the break-in and the suspects' involvement in similar crimes.
