Gas Station Clerk Injured, Shot and Pistol-Whipped in Violent West Side Robbery; $5,000 Reward Offered

SAN ANTONIO, Texas — A violent robbery at a gas station on San Antonio's far West Side has left a store employee hospitalized with severe injuries. The incident occurred on February 12, 2025, when an armed suspect entered the establishment and attempted to rob it, escalating into a brutal physical confrontation.

During the encounter, the store clerk was both shot and pistol-whipped by the assailant. Emergency medical services responded quickly to the scene and transported the injured victim to a local hospital for urgent treatment. The San Antonio Police Department (SAPD) has launched a full investigation to track down the perpetrator.

To aid in the search, authorities and Crime Stoppers are offering a reward of up to $5,000 for any information that leads to the identification and arrest of the armed suspect. SAPD urges anyone with information or surveillance footage from the West Side area to contact police immediately.
