Victim Hospitalized After Shooting During Attempted West-Side San Antonio Robbery

SAN ANTONIO, Texas โ€” An attempted robbery turned violent on San Antonioโ€™s west side, leaving one man hospitalized with gunshot wounds. The San Antonio Police Department is actively searching for the suspect involved in the shooting.

Officers responded to the scene following emergency calls reporting gunfire. Investigators determined that the victim was approached by an unidentified suspect who demanded personal belongings. During the confrontation, the suspect produced a firearm and fired multiple shots, striking the victim before fleeing the scene empty-handed.

Emergency medical services transported the victim to a nearby trauma center, where he is recovering from his injuries.
