San Antonio Police Hunt for Suspects After Nacogdoches Road Robbery Attempt and Gunfire

SAN ANTONIO, Texas — The San Antonio Police Department has launched an active search for multiple suspects involved in an attempted robbery and shooting at a local retail store on Nacogdoches Road on Sunday afternoon.

Police officers responded to emergency calls reporting gunfire at the business location. According to preliminary reports, the suspects entered the establishment with the intention of executing a robbery. During the course of the attempted heist, at least one of the suspects brandished a firearm and discharged several rounds inside the store premises before the group fled the scene.

Witnesses described a chaotic scene as employees and customers scrambled for safety when the shots rang out. Investigators confirmed that despite the gunfire, no individuals inside the store were struck by bullets, though emergency medical services treated several people at the scene for shock and minor injuries sustained during the panic.

Detectives are currently reviewing surveillance footage from the store and surrounding businesses on Nacogdoches Road to identify the perpetrators.
