Three Indicted in Violent San Francisco Crypto Home Invasion Case

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — A federal grand jury has returned indictments against three men accused of orchestrating a violent home invasion robbery in San Francisco specifically targeting digital assets, federal prosecutors announced on Monday.

According to the indictment, the suspects forced their way into a residential property on May 11, 2026. The victims were subjected to violence and threats as the perpetrators demanded access to their cryptocurrency accounts and physical valuables. The targeted nature of the attack suggests the suspects had prior knowledge of the victim's involvement in cryptocurrency trading.

The joint investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and local law enforcement led to the apprehension of the three individuals. Charging documents outline multiple federal offenses, including conspiracy to commit robbery, extortion, and various firearm violations.
