Audacious San Jose Burglary: Thieves Cut Through Walls to Steal Safe Filled with Passports

SAN JOSE, Calif. — San Jose detectives are searching for a group of burglars who carried out a meticulously planned break-in, cutting through the walls of a local commercial business to steal a safe packed with passports and other sensitive documents.

The incident occurred overnight when the suspects bypassed the building's main security entrances. Rather than attempting to pick locks or break through reinforced doors, the burglars utilized heavy-duty power tools to cut a large hole directly through the exterior and interior walls of the property.

Once inside, the suspects targeted a secure office containing a heavy safe. They managed to detach the safe, which held numerous passports and personal identification documents, and hauled it away. The business owners discovered the significant structural damage and the missing safe the following morning.

Authorities believe the suspects had prior knowledge of the building's layout and the contents of the safe. Investigators are currently reviewing security footage from nearby businesses to identify the suspects and any getaway vehicles involved in the heist.
