Thieves Target Willow Glen Restaurant in San Jose via Rooftop Break-in

SAN JOSE, California โ€” A local restaurant in San Jose's historic Willow Glen neighborhood was burglarized after thieves managed to gain access to the interior via the roof on August 20, 2024.

The incident, which took place in the early morning hours, resulted in considerable structural damage as the suspects breached the building's rooftop infrastructure to bypass security systems. Once inside, the perpetrators targeted the cash registers and safe before fleeing the scene.

Business owners in the Willow Glen area have expressed concern over the sophisticated method of entry and are urging local authorities to increase patrols. Investigators are currently reviewing surveillance footage from surrounding businesses to identify the suspects involved in the heist.
