Suspect arrested after home invasion, deadly stabbing in San Jose

A violent home invasion on New Year's Day in San Jose ended in a fatal stabbing, resulting in the swift arrest of a suspect by local police officers.

The incident occurred on January 1, 2025, when officers responded to reports of a break-in and disturbance at a residence. Upon arrival, emergency responders located a victim inside the home suffering from severe stab wounds. Despite receiving immediate medical attention, the victim succumbed to their injuries at the scene.
