Scottsdale Police Arrest Suspect Wanted in Circle K Armed Robbery

SCOTTSDALE, Arizona — A suspect wanted in connection with an armed robbery at a local convenience store has been arrested following a successful tactical operation by the Scottsdale Police Department.

The arrest took place on September 2, 2025, at an apartment complex located near Scottsdale Road and Thompson Peak Parkway in North Scottsdale. Police officers, acting on intelligence and surveillance details, located the suspect and took him into custody without any injuries or further incident.

Convenience Store Robbery Triggers Search

According to police reports, the suspect had been positively identified as the individual who committed an armed robbery at a nearby Circle K store. During the robbery, the suspect allegedly brandished a weapon and demanded cash and merchandise from the store clerk before fleeing the scene on foot. Police responded immediately to the initial call, collecting security camera footage and physical evidence that eventually led them to the North Scottsdale apartment complex.

Heavy Police Presence During Arrest

On the afternoon of the arrest, residents of the apartment complex reported a significant police presence, with multiple cruisers blocking parking areas and tactical officers securing the perimeter of the building. The suspect was arrested as he attempted to leave a unit. He has since been booked into the Maricopa County Jail on multiple felony charges, including armed robbery, aggravated assault, and carrying a weapon during the commission of a felony. The Scottsdale Police Department praised the quick coordination of the responding officers and detectives in resolving the high-risk situation safely.
