Second Seattle Dispensary Targeted in Rapid-Fire Crash-and-Grab Spree

SEATTLE, WA — A second Seattle cannabis retailer was targeted in a vehicle-ramming burglary attempt less than an hour after the first dispensary break-in, in what law enforcement believes is a coordinated spree. The rapid-fire nature of the attacks has put local dispensary owners on high alert.

In the second incident, perpetrators utilized the same destructive methodology, crashing a vehicle into the storefront's glass doors and security gates. The impact caused significant structural damage to the retail entrance. However, security measures and the swift response of police units appeared to disrupt the suspects, potentially preventing them from executing a full theft before they abandoned the scene in a secondary getaway car.

Seattle Police Department detectives are treating both incidents as a linked series of organized commercial burglaries. Security footage from both locations is being cross-referenced to confirm if the same individuals and vehicles were utilized in both crimes. The department has increased patrols around commercial zones housing cannabis dispensaries to deter further attempts.
