Daylight home invasion robbery on Aurora Ave. leaves victim shaken, suspects on the run

SEATTLE, Wash. — A brazen daylight home invasion robbery on Aurora Avenue has left a Seattle resident deeply shaken and police searching for several suspects who remain at large.

The incident occurred on the afternoon of March 27, 2025, in a residential area near the busy Aurora Avenue corridor. According to initial police reports, a group of unidentified individuals forced their way into the victim's home. The suspects reportedly confronted the resident, demanding valuables and threatening violence.

After securing an undisclosed amount of property, the perpetrators fled the scene in a vehicle before officers could arrive. Medics evaluated the resident at the scene; while the victim did not suffer major physical injuries, they were reported to be severely shaken by the traumatic encounter.

Detectives with the Seattle Police Department's Robbery Unit have taken over the investigation. They are currently canvassing the area for surveillance footage and interviewing potential witnesses.
