Friend of Business Owner Shot, Three Arrested in Attempted South Seattle Burglary

SEATTLE, Wash. — A commercial burglary attempt in South Seattle turned violent when a friend of the business owner was shot during a confrontation with the suspects. Seattle Police quickly responded to the scene, resulting in the arrest of three individuals believed to be involved in the crime.

The incident began when the business owner and their friend responded to a report of an attempted break-in at a local commercial property in South Seattle. Upon arriving, they encountered the suspects, leading to an altercation. During the confrontation, one of the suspects drew a firearm and shot the business owner's friend, causing injuries. The victim was subsequently transported to a local hospital for medical treatment.

Responding police officers secured the area and launched an immediate search for the suspects. Thanks to a swift response and cooperation from witnesses, officers located and apprehended three suspects shortly after the incident. They have been booked into the King County Jail on charges related to burglary and assault. The investigation remains active as authorities gather additional evidence.
