Smash-and-grab damages vape shop in Seattle’s Belltown neighborhood

SEATTLE, Wash. — A smash-and-grab burglary has left a local vape shop in Seattle's Belltown neighborhood with thousands of dollars in property damage and stolen merchandise.

On October 22, 2025, suspects targeted the retail store during the early morning hours. Surveillance footage from nearby businesses shows a vehicle pulling up to the store, after which individuals used heavy tools to shatter the large glass storefront windows.

Once inside, the burglars quickly looted display cases, grabbing vape pens, e-liquids, and other high-value inventory. The entire operation took only a few minutes before the suspects climbed back into their getaway vehicle and sped off into the night.

The store owner expressed frustration over the rising costs of repairs and insurance premiums due to recurring vandalism in the area. Seattle Police officers responded to the alarm and collected physical evidence from the scene. The investigation remains active, and authorities are reviewing security feeds to identify the suspect vehicle and individuals involved.
