Shively: Man Arrested for Stabbing and Robbing Woman at Speedway Gas Station

Authorities in Shively, Kentucky, have successfully apprehended a suspect in connection with a violent robbery that occurred late last month. According to the Shively Police Department, 44-year-old Timothy Johnson has been arrested and is currently facing charges of first-degree robbery and first-degree assault.

Stabbing at Speedway Gas Station

The shocking incident took place on May 30 at the Speedway gas station located at 4417 Dixie Highway. Police reports indicate that a woman was standing outside the convenience store when Johnson allegedly approached her. Without warning, the suspect reportedly stabbed the victim and robbed her of her belongings before hastily fleeing the scene.

Emergency responders arrived shortly after and transported the injured woman to a local hospital. Fortunately, medical personnel expect her to survive her injuries.

In a public statement, the Shively Police Department expressed gratitude to the local community, noting that the information provided by members of the public directly contributed to the swift identification and capture of the violent offender.
