SPRINGFIELD, New Jersey — Police are investigating a commercial break-in that targeted a local business on Springfield Avenue during the pre-dawn hours of Friday, May 1, 2026.

According to initial reports, the burglary occurred early in the morning before business hours. The suspect or suspects forced entry into the establishment, causing property damage and stealing an undisclosed amount of merchandise or cash before fleeing.
