Two Apprehended in Troy Liquor Store Burglary and Facing Multiple Charges

Two suspects are in custody following a commercial burglary at a liquor store in Troy, New York. The incident, which took place in the early hours of October 16, 2025, led to swift action by local police officers who apprehended the suspects near the scene of the crime.

According to the Troy Police Department, officers responded to an active alarm at the retail location. Upon arrival, they discovered signs of forced entry, including shattered glass and a breached entryway. A quick search of the immediate area resulted in the location and arrest of two adult males who matched descriptions of the intruders.

Both individuals have been charged with burglary, criminal mischief, and possession of burglar's tools, among other related charges. Police confirmed that some of the stolen merchandise was recovered during the arrest. The suspects are being held pending their arraignment in Troy City Court.
