Tucson Police Investigate Commercial Break-In at Mall Repair Shop

TUCSON, Arizona — Detectives with the Tucson Police Department are investigating a commercial burglary that took place at the Fast-Fix jewelry and watch repair store, located inside the Park Place Mall. The incident has raised security concerns for retail stores in the area.

According to initial police reports, the break-in occurred during the early morning hours when the mall was closed to the public. The suspect or suspects managed to breach the storefront of Fast-Fix, causing property damage and stealing several items before fleeing the scene. The total value of the stolen goods and the extent of the damage are still being assessed by store management and investigators.

Tucson Police officers responded to the scene after mall security reported the breach. Investigators are currently gathering evidence, including surveillance video from mall security cameras and neighboring retail stores, in an effort to identify those responsible.
