Former Mizzou Basketball Star Marcus Denmon Arrested in Kansas City on Tulsa Armed Robbery Warrant
TULSA, OK — Former University of Missouri basketball standout Marcus Denmon was arrested in Kansas City on an outstanding warrant related to an armed robbery charge in Tulsa, authorities confirmed.
Denmon, who starred for the Missouri Tigers from 2008 to 2012, was taken into custody by local Kansas City law enforcement officers. The active warrant was issued out of Tulsa County. While specific details of the alleged armed robbery have not yet been fully released by investigators, police departments in both cities are collaborating on the case to facilitate his extradition and transport back to Tulsa to stand trial.
