Turner: Cannabis Shop Burglarized for Third Time in Six Weeks

A local business owner in Turner, Maine, is expressing frustration after his cannabis shop was targeted by criminals yet again. The 45 Degrees North Cannabis store, located at 2742 Auburn Road, experienced its third break-in in a span of just six weeks during the early hours of Thursday.

Alarm Scares Off Suspects

According to the Androscoggin County Sheriff's Office, the latest incident occurred around 4:00 a.m. Investigators state that two individuals forced entry into the business. However, their intrusion immediately triggered the store's security alarm system, which effectively spooked the suspects and caused them to flee the scene before they could linger.

Jeremy Nadeau, the owner of 45 Degrees North Cannabis, noted the swift response to the alarm. "Fortunately this time, they ignore our response times a lot better, we missed them by about two minutes," Nadeau remarked. "Just trying to run a business. You know, I'm not sure why they keep coming here."

A Troubling Pattern of Break-ins

This recent attempted burglary is the latest in a troubling pattern for the shop. The store was previously burglarized on April 30, and then again just days later on May 5. Authorities previously arrested and charged two teenagers in connection with those first two break-ins, though it remains unclear if this newest incident is related.

Detectives have collected evidence from the scene and are actively investigating. The Sheriff's Office is urging anyone with information regarding the suspects' identities to contact Detective Nathan McNally.
