VICTORVILLE, CA — A robbery at an O'Reilly Auto Parts store in Victorville took a dangerous turn when the suspect physically assaulted a store employee and then drove a vehicle directly toward the victim in the parking lot. The incident began inside the auto parts store on Bear Valley Road, where the suspect attempted to steal store merchandise. When an employee confronted the individual, the suspect struck the employee. The confrontation spilled out into the parking lot, where the suspect entered a vehicle. In a dramatic escalation, the suspect drove the vehicle directly toward the employee, forcing them to take evasive action to avoid being run over. The suspect then sped away from the location.
