Two Detained in Waco After Robbery Call Escalates to Shots Fired

Two suspects are in custody following a tense situation in Waco that began with a robbery call and ended with gunfire. Waco Police Department officers responded to the call after receiving reports of an active robbery involving armed individuals.

Upon arriving in the area, officers discovered that a weapon had been discharged during the commission of the crime. Police immediately established a safety perimeter and searched for the suspects. No injuries from the gunfire were reported at the scene.

Following a coordinated search, officers located and apprehended two individuals believed to be responsible for the robbery and subsequent shooting. A firearm was recovered, and charges are pending as detectives continue to interview witnesses and gather evidence.
