Video Captures Audacious CVS Pharmacy Theft in Washington D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Authorities are searching for two suspects after a brazen theft at a local CVS store was captured on surveillance video. The Metropolitan Police Department released the footage in hopes that the public can help identify the individuals who forced their way behind the pharmacy counter.

Bold Theft Behind the Counter

The incident occurred during normal business hours when the two suspects entered the CVS retail store. According to police, the pair bypassed security and leaped directly over the counter into the secure pharmacy area. Pharmacists and retail employees were caught off guard as the suspects grabbed several boxes and bottles of prescription medication from the shelves.

Within moments of grabbing the drugs, the suspects jumped back over the counter and fled the store on foot. Fortunately, no employees or customers were injured during the rapid theft.
