Three Women Arrested Following $20,000 Designer Clothing Theft at Northwest DC's Black Cat
WASHINGTON, D.C. โ Authorities have apprehended three women in connection with a major commercial burglary and high-value retail theft at the Black Cat, a prominent venue in Northwest Washington, D.C. The suspects allegedly made off with designer clothing valued at approximately $20,000 before being taken into custody by the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD).
According to initial police reports, the incident occurred in the Northwest quadrant, targeting a substantial inventory of premium apparel. MPD detectives specialized in retail theft investigated the scene, collecting surveillance footage and physical evidence that ultimately led to the identification and subsequent arrest of the three female suspects.
Retail and commercial burglaries have remained a point of focus for D.C. law enforcement, with officials increasing patrols in commercial corridors to deter organized retail crime rings.
