The incident unfolded on June 9, 2025, when suspects broke into a commercial establishment positioned directly across from a local sheriff's office station. Deputized personnel quickly noticed the activity and attempted to intervene, prompting the suspects to flee in a getaway vehicle. This initiated a dangerous, high-speed chase as the suspects attempted to evade law enforcement.

The pursuit ended when police successfully stopped the vehicle and took the four occupants into custody.
