Armed Burglars Stole French Bulldog Puppies at Gunpoint in Northeast Washington, D.C. Apartment Break-in

WASHINGTON, D.C. — A terrifying New Year's Eve home invasion in Northeast Washington, D.C., has culminated in multiple arrests, though a stolen puppy remains missing, according to police reports and local news coverage.

The incident occurred on December 31, 2023, when armed suspects broke into an apartment in Northeast D.C. During the break-in, the perpetrators held the residents at gunpoint and stole French Bulldog puppies. The high-value breed has increasingly become a target for armed robberies and burglaries across the metropolitan area.
