Police Search for Suspect Who Broke Into Washington, D.C. ABC Store With Cinder Block

WASHINGTON, D.C. โ€” Police are seeking the public's help to identify a suspect captured on surveillance footage during a commercial burglary at an ABC store in Washington, D.C. on Thursday, August 21, 2025. The suspect utilized a heavy cinder block to break into the establishment.

According to investigators, the suspect arrived at the retail location during the early morning hours. Using a concrete cinder block, the individual shattered the front glass door of the store, allowing him immediate entry. Once inside, the suspect quickly gathered various bottles of merchandise before fleeing the scene on foot before police could arrive.

Local law enforcement has released description details of the suspect, appealing to the community for any information that might lead to an arrest. Anyone with information regarding the incident or who recognizes the individual in the surveillance footage is encouraged to contact investigators to assist with the open case.
