LALA'S Argentine Grill in West Hollywood Burglarized, $3,000 Stolen

WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA — A burglar targeted LALA'S Argentine Grill, a popular restaurant in West Hollywood, during an early morning break-in that resulted in the theft of thousands of dollars.

The commercial burglary occurred in the early hours of Saturday, September 13, 2025. According to reports from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department and local news outlets, the suspect managed to gain entry into the establishment located on Melrose Avenue. Once inside, the intruder ransacked the office and register areas, ultimately fleeing with approximately $3,000 in cash.

Surveillance video captured the break-in, showing the suspect quickly navigating the darkened restaurant before escaping. Management at Lala's expressed frustration over the incident, which not only cost them the stolen funds but also resulted in physical damage to the property that required immediate repairs before reopening for service.

Deputies from the West Hollywood Sheriff's Station are investigating the burglary and examining the captured video footage for clues. As of now, no suspect description has been officially released, and the investigation remains ongoing.
