Ram-Raid Burglars Smash Security Door with Vehicle in West Hollywood Commercial Break-In

An early morning commercial burglary in West Hollywood has left a local storefront severely damaged after thieves used a vehicle as a battering ram to breach the property's security doors. The destructive 'ram-raid' style incident occurred in the commercial district, raising concerns about the extreme tactics employed by modern burglary crews.

According to KTLA, the incident occurred during the early hours of Monday, November 18, 2024. Surveillance footage and physical evidence from the scene indicate that the suspects intentionally backed or drove a passenger vehicle directly into the security gates and glass entrance of the store. The impact of the collision completely shattered the heavy security door, allowing the suspects immediate access to the interior of the establishment.

Once the perimeter was breached, several individuals exited the vehicle and entered the damaged store. They conducted a rapid sweep, targeting high-value merchandise before loading the stolen items into the ramming vehicle and possibly a second getaway car. The entire operation took only a few minutes, demonstrating a high degree of planning and familiarity with the target location.

Deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department (LASD) responded to the alarm, but the suspects had already fled the scene.
