West Palm Beach: two suspects arrested following commercial break-in attempt

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — Quick response by the West Palm Beach Police Department led to the arrest of two suspects during a failed commercial break-in attempt early Saturday morning, March 15, 2025. The suspects were caught in the act before they could escape with any property.

Officers responded to an active commercial alarm at a local business. Upon arriving at the scene, law enforcement established a perimeter around the building. Officers spotted the two individuals attempting to force open an entry point. Realizing they were surrounded, the suspects surrendered to police without further incident.

Both individuals have been booked into the Palm Beach County Jail and face charges of attempted commercial burglary and possession of burglary tools. Authorities credit the business's functional alarm system and the rapid dispatch of patrol units for preventing what could have been a costly theft. The identities of the suspects have not yet been released pending formal charges.
