Crime Stoppers: Search Underway for Suspects in $1,500 Home Depot Theft

WICHITA, Kansas — The Wichita Police Department, in partnership with Crime Stoppers, has released surveillance images and requested assistance from the public to identify suspects in a high-value theft at a local Home Depot store.

The theft occurred prior to the police alert on May 22, 2026. According to investigators, the suspects entered the Home Depot location, selected various high-end power tools and building equipment totaling approximately $1,500, and exited the store without making any attempt to pay. The individuals then loaded the stolen merchandise into a waiting vehicle before driving away from the premises.

Security footage from the home improvement center captured clear images of the suspects and their vehicle, which police hope will lead to quick identification.
