Crime Stoppers: Wichita police seek suspect in armed robbery at liquor store

WICHITA, Kansas — The Wichita Police Department and Crime Stoppers of Wichita-Sedgwick County are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect involved in an armed robbery at a local liquor store.

According to police reports, the incident occurred at a liquor store in Wichita on May 16, 2025. An unidentified male suspect entered the business, approached the counter, brandished a handgun, and demanded money from the store clerk. After receiving cash from the register, the suspect fled the business on foot in an unknown direction.

The clerk was shaken up but did not report any physical injuries during the robbery. Surveillance footage captured images of the suspect, described as a male wearing dark clothing, a face mask, and a hooded sweatshirt.
