Authorities Investigate Commercial Burglary at Wilmington Tobacco Business

WILMINGTON, NORTH CAROLINA — Police are investigating a commercial burglary that took place at a local tobacco establishment in Wilmington. Detectives are seeking the public's assistance in identifying the individuals responsible for the break-in, which resulted in property damage and the theft of inventory.

The incident occurred in the early morning hours of April 15, 2025. According to the Wilmington Police Department, tobacco products, electronics, and cash from the register had been stolen. Crime scene investigators processed the business for forensic evidence and are currently reviewing security camera footage from the property.
