Two Arrested After Police Track Vehicle Linked to Winston-Salem Commercial Theft

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Two suspects are in custody following a commercial theft investigation that culminated in a police stop on Wednesday, April 15, 2026.

The Winston-Salem Police Department initiated the investigation early Wednesday after receiving reports of a commercial theft in the local area. Patrol officers and detectives quickly gathered information on the incident, including a description of the vehicle used by the suspects to flee the scene.

A short time later, alert officers spotted a vehicle matching the description and initiated a traffic stop. Following a brief investigation at the scene, the two occupants of the vehicle were identified as the primary suspects in the theft. Both individuals were arrested without incident and subsequently transported to the Forsyth County Detention Center.
