Police Respond to Robbery at Winston-Salem Gas Station

WINSTON-SALEM, NC — Winston-Salem police are investigating a robbery that took place at a local gas station on the morning of Monday, May 12, 2025.

According to police reports, the incident occurred around 3:00 PM when a suspect entered the gas station store and demanded money from the cashier. The clerk complied with the demands, and the suspect fled the scene with an unspecified amount of cash. The suspect was last seen fleeing on foot in an unknown direction.

No injuries were reported during the robbery, and police are currently working to gather more details from the scene. Officers have canvassed the surrounding area and are reviewing surveillance footage from the gas station's security cameras to identify the suspect.
