Three Armed Suspects at Large After Gunpoint Robbery of Winston-Salem Sweepstakes Business

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Winston-Salem police are searching for three armed suspects following a brazen robbery at a local sweepstakes business on Peters Creek Parkway. The incident occurred at the establishment, referred to in reports as Tapper Sweepstakes (also known as 777 Sweepstakes), where employees and patrons were held at gunpoint.

According to police reports, three individuals entered the business brandishing firearms. The suspects demanded cash from the employees, creating a highly tense and dangerous situation inside the parlor. After securing an undisclosed amount of money, the trio fled the premises and remain at large.

Fortunately, despite the presence of firearms and the threatening nature of the confrontation, no physical injuries were reported among those inside the establishment at the time of the robbery. Winston-Salem Police officers arrived shortly after receiving the emergency call, securing the area and beginning their initial investigation.

Detectives are actively analyzing surveillance footage from the business and surrounding properties on Peters Creek Parkway. They are working to obtain clear descriptions of the suspects, who were reportedly wearing clothing to obscure their identities.
