Serial Burglar Confesses to Targeting Two Bolton Schools in Spree

A burglar has formally confessed to breaking into two schools in the Bolton area, bringing some relief to the local education community. The confession follows a targeted investigation by Greater Manchester Police into a series of non-residential break-ins that occurred earlier this year.

The incidents, which took place under the cover of darkness, disrupted operations at the affected schools and resulted in damage to school property as well as the theft of valuable electronic equipment used by students. Police officers arrested the suspect after forensic evidence linked them to the crime scenes. During subsequent interviews, the individual admitted to their involvement in both break-ins.

Headteachers and school governors had previously expressed deep disappointment over the incidents, noting that such crimes divert much-needed resources away from students' education.
