Police Launch Appeal Following Chesterfield Residential Burglary

Derbyshire Police have launched an investigation and are appealing for information from the public following a burglary at a property in Chesterfield. The incident, which is believed to have taken place around mid-April 2026, has prompted authorities to release details in an effort to trace those responsible.

According to police reports, entry was forced into a residential property during the daytime. A number of personal items and valuables were stolen before the suspects fled the scene. Forensic officers have examined the property, and CCTV footage from the surrounding area is currently being reviewed by investigators.

Local Safer Neighbourhood Teams have increased patrols in the area to provide reassurance to residents. Police are asking anyone who saw suspicious activity or has dashcam or ring doorbell footage from the area around the time of the incident to contact Derbyshire Police or Crimestoppers anonymously.
