Two Young Men Charged After Knifepoint Robbery Spree in Chorley and Preston

A fast-paced police investigation has resulted in charges being brought against two young men following a spree of knifepoint robberies at local convenience stores in Chorley and Preston. A total of four shops were targeted during the crime wave, causing significant alarm within the local retail community.

The incidents, which occurred over a short timeframe, involved suspects entering the shops armed with knives, threatening staff, and demanding cash and goods. Officers from Lancashire Constabulary responded to the calls and managed to trace and arrest two suspects shortly thereafter.

Following intense questioning, the two individuals were formally charged with multiple counts of robbery and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place. They have been remanded in custody ahead of their appearance at court.

A spokesperson for the police commented: "These were violent incidents that left shop workers shaken.
