'Horrific Odour' Robber Forces Way Into Dundee Home and Attacks Woman

A terrifying home invasion has left a Dundee resident shaken after a robber, described as emitting a 'horrific odour,' forced his way into her house, physically assaulted her, and made off with her handbag.

The incident occurred when the suspect knocked on the door of the victim's property in Dundee. When she opened it, the man forced his way inside, overpowering her. He then throttled the woman, restricting her breathing, while demanding valuables. The victim was unable to break free during the brief but intense struggle.

After seizing her handbag, which contained personal items and cash, the assailant fled the scene on foot. The victim, though deeply traumatised and suffering from minor physical injuries, managed to contact the police shortly after the attack.

Police have launched an urgent appeal to identify the attacker. A key detail in the suspect's description is the distinct and overwhelming foul smell he emitted during the struggle.
